It Finally Happened
There has seldom been a day in over 9 years that I haven't signed into A F F. And during that time I almost always stopped into either a group chatroom or my local chatroom for a few minutes or many hours. Not only have I chatted online with these people, but met frequently for social gatherings and even dated and/or hooked up with quite a few. Hard for me to believe, but I've finally lost interest. It's not that I don't like the people...well, most of them... but lately they've changed and I feel I have very little in common with the ones that seem to frequent most often. I'm sure I'll pop back in occasionally, but it is certainly no longer a habit.

As obvious by the infrequency of my blogging, I'm finding very few new topics to blog about. I'm not leaving the site, as many declare they plan to do, because I still hope to meet men and A F F has been a great resource for me in that respect. However, I haven't been too success with that lately, but as I've written repeatedly, I'm still hopeful.

 I find that having 'internet-free' days on a regular basis helps to keep my perspective grounded. Staying away from Local Discreet Affairs for several days or more is beneficial, too.

 Yeah... I know how that goes. I used to visit the Mountain Zone chat since I lived there quite a while and know a few folks, but I'm not sure if they changed or I changed. There's not a lot in common there anymore. Lol... and you're right A F F is a pretty good resource to meet people you wouldn't typically find in other venues.

 Good morning. It doesn't hurt to take a break once in awhile. If you're not feeling it, just give it some time.
