Why did AFF drop 'Last Seen' on individual profiles?
Why did AFF drop 'Last Seen' on individual profiles? Is it , or did we lose the ability to see the date someone was last online? I found very useful as a time-saver --- being able to avoid messaging someone hasn't been online in a long time. With this gone, simply a 'Member Since' date (many of which are ) is pretty useless. |

To make it look like the site has incredibly active members . .

It’s to fool newcomers into buying gold memberships by giving the impression that all the profiles they see are still active, when most of them aren’t.

It’s ridiculous the changes they made. Used to also be able to chat with members I chatted with yesterday and not use a credit. Not any more ! I think they want you to pay pay pay !

As I remember the last online was an option, u could display it or not? I look at their last friend "accept" for guideline!

Well did you look at the space above the c omment box: in RED ADMIN: change to class They are having sever tech issues and I have a long list of all the gripes we have and I am going to USPS send it. Complaining to Help/Support has done nothing (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

I agree that the change sucks..... too many inactive profiles.... a waste of time!

So I guess it wasn't just me! Wish it was, and could've been fixed... Thanks for all the comments. I do agree that the site should be allowed to make money, of course they should --- it's a business. BUT the greatly diminishing return of value to us users is likely to see more people drop off. Like me! I refuse to waste time any longer attempting to communicate with 'dead' profiles, that I can no longer tell if they are or not. Even if they are 'Gold', etc. they could have taken a yearly but haven't been seen over the last 8 months.

I suggest this topic should come up every day. Everyone should bombard them with this complaint. It used to say last visit. Click contact at top right of home page. Scroll to bottom of page. Send suggestion for improvement. Repeat daily.
