I really hope we reopen soon! It's already did major damage from a short shut down. We have been lucky that our business wasn't affected with the shut downs yet, and have plenty of work lined up, but we are already bidding less than usual. I cant imagine if the call eventually quit coming. My dad worked 7 days a week 18 hours a day for 20 years to get were he is now, and i started going on jobs when I was 4 years old, this has been my whole life. I cant imagine loosing it all, but if things dont turn around who knows. Sadly with the uncertainty of the future, we havnt even bega to see the full effects that are coming even if we open up. Where just a small business with a yearly revenue around a million dollars, which is nothing, now take thousands of others like us who decide not to up Grade equipment, and now its hurting the company's selling, and manufacturing the goods, which will obviously have a larger impact. That is just one small Example. Its affecting almost everyone negativity, and opening up would obviously help some, but who knows what will happen down the road. I have even herd that 4 year university are going to loose many freshmen and sophomore students, why pay large tuition if you might end up doing online classes from home, when you can knock out your gen ed classes online for far less through a community college. What a devastating effect that would have on the college towns. It's to bad there wasn't a better way to keep high risk patients out of harm's way while letting everyone else get back to some form of normalcy. Feel free to message my private mailbox

I m in favour of opening the economy slowly. We do not know how long it will take for the various antibody tests to be ready and successful. But people should do their part and be careful. Unfortunately, there are too many idiots for this last thing to happen.

Many people are so self focused that they fail to realize there is a cost/benefit assessment (if they even know what that is) involved the decision to reopen the economy. What that means is at some point the decision makers have to concede that in order to prevent a total economic collapse, they have to accept that a certain percentage of the population will die as a result of lifting restrictions, ask yourself, if you want to be part of the 10-15 percent “acceptable loss” for the economic survival of the rest. Watching the news, it’s pretty obvious there are a lot of people not too concerned about being casualties.

The first month my wife and I had a hard problem buying tp and paper towels but now the supply is back! My wife and I got sent home but with pay and when this is over, the governor, we will return to work! What is still NOT on the store shelves is yeast and flour although I did manage to score some

Open things up, soon. We need to get rolling and start the herd immunity. Can't live in fear all our lives. People need to live and fearing death is not living.

not as afraid of carefully and slowly reopening, im afraid of the fools wholl take it as license to lose their masks and mingle and party, making the second wave not only inevitable but happen sooner than it would have normally. why do i think this will happen? because it already is . . . "well only get through this if we work together. if we dont, none of us will"

I think it's too early! I truly believe if it's opened up, there will be a greater number of positives and deaths! I'm a retired Canadian and I won't see any monetary assistance from "any" source! I have never hoarded BUT I still have lots of TP! Become an Apollorising58 watcher!

Sadly that common sense is not so common. Would need to be opened cautiously little at time and see how we all behave. Become an Apollorising58 watcher!

I believe the answer going forward is testing, antibodies, and of course a vaccine for the flu season next fall! Become an Apollorising58 watcher!

I agree dude the effects of a prolonged shutdown of the economy will be a lot worse than the pandemic in the long run. Become an Apollorising58 watcher!

Sooner or later it has to happen, can not stay locked up waiting on a vaccine that may not get here. But I will avoid crowds as much as I can. Become an Apollorising58 watcher!
